In Memoriam: Glenn Hartquist, MD (Sept. 8, 1933 - Jan. 5, 2023)

We have learned that Glenn Hartquist, founder of ARMS and mentor to many of us, died at home surrounded by family on January 5th. Glenn was hired to the Group Health staff in 1960 by Ward Miles. He was Chief of Staff from 1971 to 1977, after which he returned to his family practice. He retired “early” by his definition in 1989.

The memorial service will be on Sunday, February 5th, at 2 PM at UPC (University Presbyterian Church).
