In Memoriam: Alyson P. Rieke, MD (May 28, 1927 - Feb. 9, 2023)

We have learned that our colleague, Alyson P. Rieke, MD, passed peacefully on February 9, 2023, in Seattle, Washington. She was born in Albert Lea, Minnesota in 1927. She was very fond of her alma mater, St. Olaf College. Most of her life she practiced general medicine in the greater Seattle area with the former Group Health Network. Alyson was a consummate traveler to all parts of the world. If she wasn't traveling, she was enjoying the great outdoors in Washington State.

Alyson is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Rieke and her sister, Madge Rieke. She is survived by her nephew, Peter Rieke of Charlotte, NC.
